Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC)

The CTICC is Africa’s leading convention centre located in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. Getting to the CTICC is simple thanks to Cape Town’s well-established transport system and its location in the heart of the city’s business district. The CTICC has been designed to ensure that the building is an inclusive venue for all delegates and visitors.

For more information about getting to the CTICC and the venue’s accessibility, please visit https://www.cticc.co.za/.

Public transport

You can find several taxi kiosks in the arrivals hall at Cape Town International Airport. Make sure to agree your fare before you travel – most companies will offer a fixed rate to the CTICC. Do not accept rides from private taxi or shuttle drivers who are not officially affiliated with the airport.

Both Uber and Bolt offer affordable taxi services in Cape Town, including from the airport.

You can also travel around the city on a MyCiti bus, which has a bus stop right outside the CTICC. To plan your route and for more information, visit https://www.myciti.org.za/en/home/.

Staying safe in Cape Town

For safe travel tips while in Cape Town, download this helpful brochure from the Cape Town Central City Improvement District (CCID). We recommend only wearing your Congress badge when inside the CTICC.
