Cape Town International Convention Centre

The CTICC is Africa’s leading convention centre located in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa.

Getting to the CTICC is easy as Cape Town is a dynamic, cosmopolitan city with well-established transport systems in place. The CTICC is also conveniently located in the central business and entertainment hub of the city, and is close to many major attractions, and places to stay and eat.

The CTICC has been designed to ensure that the building is an inclusive venue for all delegates and visitors.

Hotel accommodation

Discounted rates are available for registered delegates of FIGO Cape Town 2025 at a number of hotels local to the CTICC. Availability is limited and rooms will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Travel requirements for South Africa

Visas

Visitors to South Africa must produce a valid visa before entering the country. A visa will be issued for a visit for tourism or business purposes and is valid for a period of 90 days. Some countries are exempted from visa control, which means that citizens from those countries do not need a visa to visit South Africa.

Since the XXV FIGO World Congress is a global event, we strive to facilitate the participation of our international delegates. Delegates who have registered and paid for the Congress will be able to obtain an invitation letter from FIGO to support with their visa application. Please note that FIGO is unable to take responsibility for declined or late visa applications.

Vaccinations

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travellers aged 1 year or over arriving from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission and for travellers having transited for more than 12 hours through an airport of a country with risk of yellow fever transmission.
