As part of FIGO Cape Town 2025, we are organising additional educational activities such as pre-Congress workshops and hands-on
simulation labs that require pre-registration for an additional fee. You must be registered to the Congress in order to purchase a ticket for
an educational activity.

Spaces for each educational activity are limited and registration will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis.

Pre-Congress workshops

Focused and interactive seminars that offer attendees a deep-dive into a specific area of interest, some of which offer hands-on experience.

Pre-Congress workshops take place on Saturday 4 October 2025. Some take place on-site at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, others take place at off-site venues such as local hospitals, universities or simulation centres. FIGO will arrange return transport from the Cape Town International Convention Centre to the off-site venues.

Hands-on simulation labs

Immersive learning experiences offer the opportunity to practice gynaecologic surgical procedures and react and respond to obstetric scenarios in a life-like simulated environment.

Hands on simulation labs take place on-site at the Cape Town International Convention Centre between Sunday 5 – Thursday 9 October 2025.
