CME accreditation
FIGO has submitted the Scientific Programme of the World Congress for accreditation by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). Once the accreditation is approved by UEMS EACCME, FIGO will inform all registered participants.
Once accredited, each medical specialist will be able to claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
For other countries, please contact the relevant national/regional accreditation authority.
Delegate feedback and certificates of attendance
We greatly value the feedback of our attendees, which is used to inform improvements for future FIGO World Congresses. All attending participants who have retrieved their Congress badge will automatically receive an e-mail after the Congress with 2 feedback survey links as follows:
- General feedback survey for the Congress organisers – upon completion of this, delegates will receive a general certificate of attendance.
- CME survey for the UEMS – upon completion of this, delegates will receive a CME certificate.
